MASON, OH; April 30, 2018
Prasco today announced two changes designed to better align the company for growth: Bill Locke has been named VP, trade relations and Dennis Legault has been named chief marketing officer. Locke and Legault will be jointly responsible for developing and executing strategies to increase awareness of Prasco and Authorized Generics.
The mission of the trade relations team is to expand Prasco’s sales presence through strategic support of all current trade accounts and development of new business relationships. Trade relations will provide strategic leadership and communication in an effort to grow the company’s influence in a changing pharmaceutical industry, including government affairs.
“Locke’s keen understanding of our customers through his decade of leadership roles at Prasco positions him as the obvious choice to lead this group”, said Chris Arington, Prasco’s chief executive officer. Most recently, Locke was VP, marketing and communications, and previous to that role, national account executive managing major corporate accounts.
“Monthly, more than a million patients access Prasco’s Authorized Generics through the 80,000 pharmacies nationwide who purchase our products,” said Arington. Prasco must ensure that we meet all our patient and customer needs while addressing the opportunities and challenges of the future. “Legault will be integral to Prasco reaching patients who are shopping for high quality, more affordable prescription drugs.”
Legault, formerly of Procter & Gamble (P&G), has 20 years of brand-building experience. During his tenure at P&G, Legault led four different billion-dollar brands to annual growth rates of greater than 10%: Charmin, Crest, Head & Shoulders, and Oral-B. While overseeing both global and North American businesses for P&G, Legault won 11 industry marketing awards. "I am very excited to join the Prasco team, and I look forward to helping accelerate consumer marketing capabilities in this dynamic industry,” said Legault.
“Dennis has a distinguished track record of driving top-line results, growing market share, and building brands. His unique combination of character, leadership, strategic thinking and world-class marketing expertise makes him a valuable addition to Prasco,” added Arington.
